To elaborate,
I find my motivation in the great thinkers and visionaries who have come before me, and in my belief that humanity is destined to move beyond our planet, just as we have made the treks across every other sea. I'm inspired by the progress that capitalism is bringing and will continue to bring to make civilian space flight a reality. It is my desire to have a hand in shaping the United States' continued leadership in air and space. I'm proud to be a citizen of the country that attracted the great minds of the world such as Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, and Enrico Fermi, to name a few. A people that embraced the dream of Wernher von Braun. A nation which, at the direction of President Kennedy to "commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth", did just that.
I spend my time climbing upon the shoulders of those great men from Henry David Thoreau and Isaac Newton, to George Orwell and Robert H. Goddard. So if you're looking for a smart robot, look somewhere else. If you're looking for an intelligent and thinking human being, here I am. Because I truly believe that knowledge is power, and my life is dedicated to seeking out even more knowledge about the world around me, to make that world a better place.
